In an exclusive statement for Collider, actress Marisa Tomei commented that she regrets having accepted maternal roles throughout her film career.
“I really regret taking this path and I really regret starting this way. I was convinced, not to make the movie, but to make that change, and I've always felt that playing a mother ends up being more of an extra than anything else."
Currently, Marisa plays May Parker in the new Spider-Man films set in the
