Angelina Jolie posed N*de and said she's trapped because of Brad Pitt

The actress did a production for Harpers Bazaar and said the reason why she cannot move from the United States.

"Trapped". This is how Angelina Jolie would seem to feel despite yearning and having the necessary resources to live in another country with her large family. But the one who stops her, as she revealed in an exclusive interview with Harpers Bazaar, is none other than her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. That dream, she said, will have to wait for her children to grow up.

“I would love to live abroad and I will as soon as my children are 18 years old,” said the talented 44-year-old actress. “Right now I have to base myself on where her father chooses to live,” added the woman who decided to put end to the relationship she had with Pitt for 12 years between 2004 and 2016. The woman did not clarify the reason for that determination.

Both have six children: they are the parents of Maddox - recently admitted to a university in South Korea -, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and the twins Vivienne and Knox. But until the latter are 18 years old - they are currently 11 - she will not be able to choose to move her life to other latitudes.

Asked what that inspiring place to live in would be, Jolie said she hadn't decided yet but it would be one she's never been to. “My favorite place is a place I have never been. I like to be dropped into the middle of something new. I like to be out of my element. I want children to grow up in the world, not only learning about it, but also living and having friends all over the world. Next year we start a house in Africa,” she explained.

However, the dream cannot be fulfilled immediately. And how her relationship with her little ones has strengthened her in recent years. “My children know my true self and have helped me find it again and embrace it. They've been through a lot. I learn from his strength,” she noted.

During the interview conducted by the editor Patrick Mackie and the photographer Solve Sundsbo, Jolie also referred to her social role and how she fights against the injustices suffered by women all over the planet. “Between 2000 and 2006, more American women died from domestic homicide than American soldiers died on the battlefield. It is surprising that in the whole world the most dangerous place for women today is the home. There are still more than a dozen countries where violence against a wife or family member is legal,” she stressed.

“This is a time to fight. If there is a fight in this life, it must be for freedoms and rights. And if we have our freedom, we must fight for others who don't", commented the actress whose social commitment is deeper and deeper.

Divorce, full of disappointments

During her interview with Harpers Bazaar, Jolie didn't delve too deeply into her present as Pitt's mother and ex-wife. The divorce of both was traumatic and occupied thousands of hours of television and thousands of coverage and speculation. From Jennifer Aniston's expected reaction to the indiscretions committed by a former family bodyguard.

Jolie filed for divorce from the Hollywood actor in September 2016 after two years of marriage and nearly 12 years together. They have six children. In an interview last October, the actress called the breakup a "complicated moment" and admitted, "I didn't recognize myself."

"I had gotten a little lost," the actress told French magazine Madame Figaro about the time her "relationship with Brad was coming to an end." For Jolie it was not easy to move forward alone with her children.

During the split, Jolie said she felt "smaller, almost insignificant." And she added: “I felt a deep and genuine sadness. She hurt me”. However, Jon Voight's daughter explained that this situation made her reconnect: "All these things settle in you and remind you how lucky you are to be alive."
