Brad Pitt sues Angelina Jolie for selling estate where they got married
The former 'golden' couple of Hollywood, made up of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, is again confronted by a property that she owned in France.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie added a new edge to their
bitter divorce process. This, after TMZ affirmed that the protagonist of
Once upon a time in Hollywood (2019) sued his ex-wife, whom he accuses of
illegally selling the Château Miraval, a property that they both acquired in
Correns (France) and that It was the scene of their wedding in 2014.
As it turned out, both Hollywood stars had agreed not to
sell the farm they acquired together in 2008. Brad Pitt would have made the
vineyard within the property become one of the most important producers of
rosé wine in the world.

In his lawsuit, the actor alleged that Angelina Jolie sold the part
that corresponds to the Russian businessman Yuri Shefler without prior
notice and, therefore, without her consent to carry out said commercial
transaction.
"She sold her interest with the knowledge and intention that
Shefler and his affiliates would seek to control the business that Pitt had
been engaged in and undermine his investment in Miraval," a source quoted by
Page Six said.
The sale of the Château Miraval would have taken place in
October 2021. Brad Pitt was surprised to learn that a part of his
multimillion-dollar business had been acquired by Tenute del Mondo, a
subsidiary of Yuri Shefler's Stoli Group.
Does Angelina Jolie deliberately seek to harm Brad Pitt?
The star of World War Z (2013) points out in his lawsuit that
Angelina Jolie stopped investing in the vineyard in 2013, being Brad Pitt
who assumed 70% of the financing in the business.
“She deals free damage to Pitt. Jolie long ago stopped
contributing to Miraval, while Pitt poured money and sweat into the wine
business. Jolie is looking to seize profits she hasn't made and returns on
an investment she didn't make,” the Page Six insider points out. In
addition, he assures that the agreement signed by the protagonist of By the
Sea (2015) and Alexander the Great (2004) prevents Brad Pitt from enjoying
the 35-room mansion.
