Cher Dazzles With Daring Costumes at the Billboard Awards Gala
Cher caused a furore during the Billboard Awards, held last Sunday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA, because her revealing outfits were the sensation.
Apparently the singer has found her fountain of youth, because
her dresses with transparencies revealed a figure that would be the envy of
many women half her age.
Cher was one of the figures honored and received the Icon
award; In addition, after 15 years of absence, she took the stage to sing
two of her greatest hits: If I Could Turn Back Time and Believe.
During her appearances at her gala, the eternal diva wore the
striking outfits which are inspired by her looks from the 1980s.
When she performed Believe she wore a sexy glittery dress and
for If I Could Turn Back Time she wore a see-through black leotard and
rocker-style leather jacket.
After her applauded presentation, the singer received the Icon
award for her musical career.
“Well, I've wanted to do this since I was four years old, and
I've been doing it for 53. I want to thank my mom.
When she was very young she told me: 'You are not going to be the
smartest, nor are you going to be the most beautiful. You're not going to be
the most talented. But you are going to be special. And when I met Sonny she
told me the same thing. And there was really nothing in me that would make
me believe that it would be special, ”she declared Cher after receiving the
recognition from Gwen Stefani.
In an interview with Billboard magazine, Ella Cher herself said
that she doesn't like getting old.
"I don't like getting old. I am amazed because I can still run
around the stage at my age. I thought she was going to be dead! ”, Referred
