Dakota Johnson is an American actress and model, best known for starring in the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' trilogy.
Her relationship with acting comes from afar, since her parents are the actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. She in turn, she is the granddaughter of Tippi Hedren, who was an actress in several Hitchcock films.
In 1999 she makes her film debut in a film directed by Antonio
Banderas, at the time, her stepfather. She had small roles in movies like
'The social network' and Cymbeline. In 2013, she got her big break when she
got the role of Anastasia Steele, in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. She signed on
for three movies, which have been huge box-office hits but not critically
so.
Since then, she has participated in several movies with great
actors, such as 'Black Mass' or 'A Bigger Splash'.
Dakota Johnson is very secretive about her private life but it
has been known that she has a relationship with Chris Martin. The Coldplay
vocalist and the actress have been together since 2017, although they have
not officially confirmed it.
