Diddy Claims Will Smith and Chris Rock Have Already Settled Their Oscar Fight: It's All Love, They're Brothers
Will Smith and Chris Rock's beef may be short-lived.
As previously reported, the 94th Academy Awards
ceremony took place on Sunday night (March 27) and things got pretty
interesting. During the Chris Rock57 awards show, he apparently took a hit
on Jada Pinkett Smith50, and made a joke about him balding. Jada Pinkett
Smith reportedly suffers from alopecia and has previously been outspoken
about how the condition has affected her life. Following Chris Rock's
controversial joke, Will Smith came on stage and slapped the comedian. After
returning to his seat, he yelled:
"Keep my wife's name out of your fucking mouth."
Despite the fact that the Oscars fight apparently sparked a
huge debate around the world about who was right and who was wrong, it seems
that the two men involved in the infamous incident have already moved on.
During an interview that took place at an Oscars after party, Diddy52 shared
that Chris and Will Smith have already reconciled. He said,
"That's not a problem. That ended. I can confirm
that.”
The two artists have yet to directly address the
altercation. However, Will apologized to everyone but Cris while accepting
his Best Actor award. He said,
“I want to apologize to the Academy. I want to apologize to all
my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment, and I'm not crying about
winning an award."
he added,
“It's not about
winning an award for me; it is about being able to enlighten all people.”
