The day after being released after 72 hours of starting her sentence behind bars, Paris Hilton was returned to prison this Friday by order of a judge who responded to the request of the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office.
Hilton, 26, returned to the Century Regional Detention Center for women in Lynwood County, CA, to serve her original sentence of 45 days and not 23, as she had been reduced for "overcrowding" in that prison.
This happens a day after the sheriff of said county decided to grant him house arrest for "unspecified medical reasons", which triggered a power struggle between the prosecution and the police agency, reports the AFP agency.
People.com indicates that the famous socialite she left her crying the court in which she was ordered to return to prison: “This is not fair!” she sobbed.
During the hearing, she was accompanied by her mother, Kathy, and her father, Rick Hilton, who tried to comfort her after learning of the judge's decision.
The young woman tried, through her lawyers, not to have to attend the hearing where Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer, the same one who sentenced her to 45 days in prison on May 4, decided to send her back after the jail.
