Rihanna calls for an end to gun violence after the murder of her cousin
Rihanna is definitely going through the worst time. The
singer's cousin was murdered in Barbados just hours after the family
celebrated Christmas, the music star posted on her Instagram profile.
Rihanna took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the death of
her cousin, a 21-year-old named Tavon Kaiseen Alleyn, who was shot dead in
Barbados.
According to Sky News, Tavon was on his way to his house
at around 7pm on Tuesday when he was shot by a man who then fled. The young
man died in the hospital.
The singer posted a heartbreaking tribute to her cousin who she
had been with hours before her tragic end. "Rest in peace, cousin... I can't
believe that just last night I held you in my arms, I never would have
believed that it would be the last time I would feel the warmth of your
body," she wrote in the publication.
