'That '70s Show': Mila Kunis Lied About Her Age and 7 Other Show Secrets

In 1998, the sitcom That '70s Show came to the small screen to show the teenage life of Eric Forman, Donna Pinciotti, Jackie Burkhart, Steven Hyde, Fez and Michael Kelso in the seventies.

Its success was such that it had 200 episodes and lasted 8 years, so it left a great mark on television with its unique humor, but surely you do not know the following curious facts about the program:

1.-Mila Kunis lied to get her role

The actress began her career very young and had been presented with the opportunity of a lifetime with That '70s Show at the age of 14. The producers did not want very young people in the project and when asked how old she was, she replied that she would soon be 18 years old ... but not specific when, as she tells People magazine. That white lie got her the part and also her first kiss on her scene with Ashton Kutcher.

2.-Danny Masterson was accused of sexual assault

After the last episode concluded, Danny had some minor roles in film and television but he returned to prominence in the series The Ranch where he acted alongside his partner Ashton. His life took a radical turn when in 2017, he was accused of raping four women in the early 2000s, while the show was still on the air.

His departure from The Ranch was imminent and BBC News mentioned that his lawyer denied the accusations, but to date no conclusion has been reached in the case.

3.-Laurie Foreman was recast due to devastating personal problems

Actress Lisa Robin Kelly portrayed Eric Foreman's older sister, Laurie, for the show's first five seasons, but her role was reduced after the third. She did not appear in the fourth and in the fifth, she only appeared sporadically.

4.-It was one of the first shows where a kiss between two people of the same sex was shown

As in many programs there were also special guests and one of them was Joseph Gordon-Levitt who appeared in a chapter of the first season as Buddy Morgan, a boy who was secretly in love with Eric. The two shared a little kiss on stage and it became one of the first to be broadcast in a family time slot. Do you remember that part?

5.-It was not among Ashton and Mila's plans to reconnect

Although their chemistry was undeniable on the series, the actors didn't think they would connect on a romantic level after so many years. Ashton was married to Demi Moore for 7 years and Mila had an 8-year relationship with Macaulay Culkin. When their relationship ended, they naturally grew closer and are now happily married.

6.-Tommy Chong went to jail

One of the most memorable third party characters on That '70s Show was Leo, played by Tommy Chong, the adult drug addict who develops a friendship with the gang most likely due to his marijuana connections.
