A year after his serious accident, Morgan Freeman suffers consequences
He wears a therapeutic glove and continues rehabilitation to regain mobility in his left hand.
A year after the serious traffic accident suffered by Morgan
Freeman in Mississippi, the aftermath has not been erased. The Oscar winner
for Million Dollar Baby is wearing a therapeutic glove for the recovery of
his left hand and arm, which were paralyzed in the serious accident. As a
result of the fatal event, the actor had to undergo an operation to
reconnect the nerves and tissues of the damaged arm and hand.
With a serious face and downcast, the 72-year-old actor
went to the rehabilitation center as usual to gradually recover full
mobility of his left limb. Despite having had his arm immobilized for quite
some time, Freeman has not stopped working. The actor shot the film Invictus
with Matt Damon and will soon be back in front of the cameras with Bruce
Willis in Red.
It will be the third time that Willis and Freeman have coincided in a film after The Bonfire of the Vanities and The Slevin Affair. However, there have been other hobbies that he has had to give up because of his injury: golf and flying planes.
Shortly after the accident, the actor was concerned about his 'swing',
since he would keep him away from his fans for a year. "Before I die I want
to improve my handicap +30", he assured.
