The couple, devastated after the death of one of the twins they were expecting, has reappeared on social networks to thank their followers for their love in these very hard times.
"Home sweet home. Gio and our little girl are finally with us. We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures. Your support is so important and we feel the love and respect you have for our family. Now is the time for these grateful for the life we have just welcomed into this world.
A beautiful and meaningful photograph in
which we see the baby for the first time, whose name has not been revealed
for the moment, after being discharged from the hospital four days after
arriving in the world.
It was last Monday when Georgina and the soccer player experienced one of the hardest moments of their lives with the death, during childbirth, of one of the twins they were expecting, a boy: "It is the greatest pain that parents can feel" , they confessed then, completely devastated. Fortunately, the girl was "healthy and strong" - as revealed by Cristiano's sister, Katia Aveiro - and, as the couple admitted, "her birth is the only thing that gives us strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness" .
And now, showing that life goes on and that "it is time to thank the arrival in the world" of their babygirl, the footballer and the model have shared the first image of their entire family at their home in Manchester.
A photograph in which Georgina, with a good face and black sportswear, is on a sofa with her son Mateo (4) on her lap, and next to her is Cristiano Jr, 11, who is holding little Eva ( 4) in arms.
In an armchair, and next to the wicker cuckoo of his newborn daughter, Cristiano Ronaldo, smiling, with the little one of the house in his arm, dressed in pink and peacefully asleep. She is smiling and fun, close to her father and her new little sister, Alana Martina (4), the youngest of the family until now. A beautiful image with which the Portuguese and the model have presented their newborn daughter and have wanted to thank the support received in these very hard times.
A gratitude that Cristiano expressed hours before
through his social networks, impressed by the emotional tribute that the
fans of his team, Manchester United, and Liverpool paid him last Wednesday,
dedicating a unanimous applause to his family in the 7th minute before
singing the mythical 'You'll Never Walk Alone' in his honor: "A world... a
sport... a global family... Thank you, Anfield. My family and I will never
forget this moment of respect and compassion."
