During one of them, the actress acknowledged that there is a film for which she still regrets.

Sandra's career has been full of different titles, from comedy to dramas that devastated the box office, such as the film that earned her the Oscar for Best Actress, The Blind Side (2009). The action has not been missing from Bullock's list, one of those titles was Speed ​​(1994), which also meant her first job with her great friend Keanu Reeves. This film was a huge success, this motivated Fox to prepare a sequel, which came three years later, but only with Sandra, since Keanu did not accept because the first installment was more than enough.

Despite not having Keanu, the studio kept going with the film. Shortly after, actor Jason Patric appeared. The story of Speed ​​2 states that Annie (Bullock) after breaking up with Jack Traven (Reeves) begins dating Swat officer Alex Saw (Patrick). Both decide to take a relaxing cruise on the sea, but what they do not know is that the ship will come under siege from a bomb expert psychopath named John Geiger, played by the great Willem Dafoe.

Speed ​​2: Cruise Control hit theaters in 1997. Critics panned the film for several reasons. At the box office it managed to get $164 million dollars, being that its budget was $160 million. The critics were not the only ones who did not hate the film, Sandra too.    

While talking to the site TooFab about The Lost City, the actress opened up and admitted that she is embarrassed to have agreed to participate in Speed ​​2. According to Sandra, the film "didn't make sense", something that only Keanu saw at the time. come.

"I have a (movie) that nobody got close to and I'm still embarrassed to be in it. It's called Speed ​​2. I've talked about it a lot. It doesn't make sense," Sandra revealed.

This is not the first time that he has criticized his participation in the sequel, he previously commented that part of the failure of Speed ​​2 was due to the script and that compared to the unstoppable bus of the first installment, the luxury cruiser ended up being a “slow boat” 

In addition to The Lost City, Sandra participates in another film, Bullet Train, which will hit theaters in July this year.
