The young singer, Billie Eilish, ignited the controversy and a group of
intolerant users stopped following her.
Billie Eilish will end the year completely wrapped in controversy. It turns out that on December 28, in the middle of April Fools' Day, the singer decided to participate in a viral challenge that consists of posting a photo on social networks.
Well, so far everything was fine, but at one point a fan asked her for a picture that she was truly proud of and another wanted her to show it on her phone's lock screen.
The winner of ten Grammy awards responded and in her Instagram stories she shared a photo of a page from her notebook in which there was a drawing of female breasts and some figures that seemed to be snakes, and also showed the screen of her phone which it is an image of two N*ked girls embracing each other.
Alongside the picture of the drawings, the 19-year-old singer wrote, "These probably. Ha ha ha I love b**bs." As you can see from her post, Eilish thought her post was funny, however, some of her fans didn't find it as funny and unfollowed her.
Immediately, a follower realized that the number of followers of the singer had decreased significantly, she lost around 100,000, in such a way that the number dropped from 73 million to 72.9 million for that publication.
Billie found out about her declining followers thanks to that user, so she shared a screenshot of the post on her stories and wrote, "I'm laughing my ass off. All you babes shaking my head," adding two skull emojis.
According to the Cosmopolitan medium, it may be that the most conservative sector of her followers has been bothered by the images, however, it cannot be verified if this theory is true.
It is not the first time that the artist has been annoyed with her fans, last week she asked them to stop making fun of the neon green reflections that she has in her hair or she would not release the next album of she.
"I have a funny story to tell you, but first: fuck you guys. Stop making fun of me," Billie Eilish wrote, adding, "OMG. I'm fucking making you guys an album. I won't put it out if you keep making fun of my hair. Shut up!"
