The daughter of the former guitarist of "Bersuit Vergarabat", Oscar Righi, denounced her father for sexual and psychological abuse

The daughter of Oscar Righi, guitarist from 1990 to 2016 of Bersuit Vergarabat, denounced that her father subjected her to sexual and psychological abuse. The young woman who now goes by the name of Ume Bôshi published an extensive text on her Facebook profile where she relates situations of sexual violence experienced during her childhood and her childhood.

“My name was Lucía Righi, my dad Oscar Righi sexually and psychologically abused me and other women and people for as long as I can remember,” she began. “For as long as I can remember, I've been afraid of the dark. He said that a shadowy man came to touch me and talk to me at night. I couldn't sleep quietly until I was 11 years old. When I was little, strange things happened to me, she had cynical thoughts and blamed me afterwards, ”said the young woman in her text.

In a narrative sense, the musician's daughter made reference to numerous occasions in which she, since she was very little, was subjected to “nightmares” and “sadistic games”. “Luli the liar suddenly, she said that she was sexually abused at school. And daddy took her to the psychologist, and automatically daddy told luli that her mom was a demon, that he mistreated her and that I had to go live with him” (sic), Lucila recalled regarding the moment when she was 8 years old and managed to say what was happening to him, and added: "Daddy had the idea at that precise moment and impulsively to create a new family, and upset me until I hated my entire maternal family when I was 8 years old."

“Daddy asked me to take a bath with him, it was fine, right? She was a girl. Daddy asked me to take a bath with him... I'm already 13, don't you think that's a little weird? Daddy touched my body while he slept, okay? No, because it can't be true because I was horrible, I wasn't like the others, I was just a good partner for chats, for downloads, ”she pointed out.

In addition, the young woman gave details of the daily mistreatment that she suffered, from comparisons with her sisters by the musician, as well as aberrant situations of touching and sexual abuse. "He enjoyed my anguish, and he got excited about it," said Ume Bôshi.

In other passages, the complainant described different behaviors that could be classified as sexual abuse, having been exposed to drugs and having suffered physical violence on a regular basis: "Papa didn't contradict anything, if the hair-pulling and screaming didn't start."

As a result of the abuse, the young woman explained that she suffered panic attacks, that she engaged in self-injurious behavior and bulimia, which led her to weigh 35 kilos at the age of 16 and to have to be hospitalized several times due to dehydration. "And every time he wanted to leave on my own, the violence he exerted on me is speechless," she said in another paragraph of her heartbreaking testimony.

At the end of the publication, the daughter of the musician who formed the group La Rayada together with the actress and singer Romina Gaetani with whom he was in a relationship for seven years, said that he hoped that "all the women and people abused by Oscar Righi can say it ” and called for “not to romanticize the famous”.

“This case is not more important than others because it is Oscar de Bersuit. I speak and publish so as not to be silent, so that we can all speak, not to foment hatred, if we do not follow the same circle, "she completed.

Later, in another post, Lucila thanked the support received. In addition, she acknowledged that the anguish continues, but she explained that she decided to tell her story to raise awareness and encourage all victims to do so and report abuse. In addition, she assured her father that she is no longer afraid: “I am here, Oscar, this is the last poem I dedicate to you, enjoy it, but this does not end here. I'm on fire, I'm no longer a victim, and let no one feel sorry for me. I'm not afraid anymore."
