Alec Baldwin returns to acting: he will be Santa Claus in one of his next films after the tragic accident of his last filming
It escapes no one that last year has not been the easiest for Alec Baldwin: to blame for the involuntary murder of director of photography Halyna Hutchins during the filming of 'Rust', which he also produced, the procedures have followed lawsuits and cancellations of their projects.
It is likely that we will never see 'Rust' complete and, in
addition, ABC shelved 'Match game', the contest that was going to present.
But, blindly searching to see if the public is capable of forgiving him
shortly after Amy Schumer's jokes at his expense, the actor has begun to
record two films... Christmas!
Perhaps to get away from the troubles of life or to wash
his image, Alec will play Santa Claus himself in 'Kid Santa', along with his
brother William. On the set, as the Daily Mail has shown, he has already
been seen with a beard and a red suit, so there is no doubt. The director
will be Francesco Cinquemani, an author specialized in Christmas things. His
are (eye) 'Vote for Santa', 'Christmas Thieves' or its sequel, 'The
Christmas Witch'.
All three movies were directed last year, and he still had time
to make another two. When you think you are having a very productive day,
think that Francesco has passed you on the right.
It seems that the director has grown fond of the
Baldwins and Christmas, because at the same time he is directing 'Billie's
Magical World' in which both will have a role again. Both 'Kid Santa' and
this one are half live action and half animation films, and the brothers are
supposed to appear in only a couple of segments. But who knows what the
magic of Christmas has in store for us.
Alec Baldwin has a couple of movies in full post-production,
but not in a hurry: one, 'Supercell', a father-son drama with Skeet Ulrich
and Anne Heche, and another, '97 minutes', as a hero who saves a plane
without fuel before let it be shot down.
In fact, last year he could only be seen in the series
'Dr. Death'. The rest of his projects, at the moment, are awaiting the
approval of the public: if they are able to see Baldwin with good eyes
playing Santa Claus and bringing kindness to children with a good heart,
