Not many fans get the chance to stand within feet of Eton John (70) as he dazzles all listeners with his talent for piano playing and his incredible voice. But not everyone knows how to take advantage of it.
As on several occasions, the artist had invited people from the public to sing along with him his classic theme Saturday night. However, one of those present managed to make the singer uncomfortable with his attitude... and he decided to leave the concert!
This could be seen in the images published by the TMZ portal. Then, to clarify what happened, Elton explained the reasons that led him to make that decision, through his official Twitter account: "Last Thursday (for March 1) a fan put his hands on the piano keyboard while he played and continued to do so even after I asked him to stop. He then proceeded to play the piano and attempted to take pictures, completely interrupting the show."
"I bring fans onstage every time I play Saturday Night because it's always a lovely part of the show where I get to meet them and shake their hands and have them there while I'm playing. They're usually very nice about the fact that I'm singing a song live."
Finally, he referred to the man who managed to get him out of his boxes: "The guy was rude, disruptive and had no care or respect for our show so I let him know how I felt and left the stage until they took him out."
