Ten years after his death, several mysteries surrounding the artist's life are revealed.
The documentary 'Killing Michael Jackson', which collects the
versions of three detectives who investigated the death of the 'King of
Pop', revealed one of the artist's best secrets.
The necropsy of Jackson, who died on June 25, 2009,
revealed that the artist was almost totally bald at the time of his death
and that part of his scalp had been darkened with a tattoo.
The singer-dancer's baldness was reportedly due to a fire
accident while filming a soda commercial in 1984. In the region where he was
burned, the artist had a patch of scar, according to Detective Scott Smith
in ' Killing Michael Jackson'.
For this reason, Michael Jackson wore a wig when he went out in
public.
"Every time he was in public he wore a wig," Smith
stated.
The forensic examination also revealed that Michael Jackson had
a pink eyeliner-type cosmetic tattoo around his lips. In addition, he had
surgical scars from various procedures throughout his 50s, as well as
puncture wounds that showed he injected himself with medication to help him
sleep.
