Cameron Diaz Enjoyed kissing Tom Cruise
Cameron Diaz is a whole box of surprises. The actress has a very consolidated career, but, at almost 28 years old, she prefers to continue 'collecting' many men rather than fall in love with one for life. Besides, she confesses that the most difficult thing for her while filming 'Night and Day' was not having to kiss Tom Cruise, but when objects flew over her during her scene.
Cameron is used to doing all kinds of movies and, as she
already showed with 'Charlie's Angels', she is a very conducive actress to
work in action movies. But, despite her experience, she is something she
doesn't quite take well.
In 'Night and Day' the actress plays, along with Tom Cruise, a
fugitive couple who are forced to overcome great obstacles to escape: "We
work the papers. It is literally the same job as driving the car. You just
try do the best you can for the story and the characters.
But the situation is a bit more complicated when that job involves
risk scenes, so Cameron enjoys more shooting the scenes where there is not
as much action involved, such as the parts where he interacts with his
co-star, even if they involve a physical contact: "I was probably less
nervous (kissing Cruise) than when things were flying through my head. I
trust Tom a lot more than explosions. He's great, he's a very smooth
driver."
And, according to 'Contact Music', the actress did not stop
talking about her co-star, whom she said "is a funny guy by nature. What
he's great at is soft comedy", and explained that "comedy soft is harder
than elite comedy".
But, as much as Cameron is interested in someone, the actress
is not willing to spend the rest of her life by someone's side. "I think the
big mistake in our society is that we're supposed to meet someone when we're
18 and we're supposed to marry them and love them for the rest of our
lives."
So far, Cameron has dated a wide variety of men, including
Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and Matt Dilon. But Diaz is not a woman who
can be easily tied down, preferring instead to let herself go for the
moment: "Who would want to be with the same person for 80 years? Why not cut
a little bit? I think people get tired to get married and spend 20 or 30
years sleeping with the same person. Don't do it"
