Shailene Woodley Shares Message about 'Grief' after Split from Aaron Rodgers
Shailene Woodley shared a cryptic message about loss and grief days after
multiple outlets reported that she and Aaron Rogers split forever.
“Sorrow expressed out loud for someone we have lost, or a
country or a home we have lost, is in itself the highest praise we could
ever give them,” said the Big Little Lies alumna, 30, posted via her
Instagram story on Wednesday, April 27. The sentiment, which is a quote from
a quote by author Martin Prechtel, continued: “Pain is a compliment, because
it is the natural way that love honors what it misses.”
The post
concluded: "Seeing pain in this way helps us respect what we're going
through, instead of being mired in shame and despondency about painting that
we already feel."
Hours earlier, the Divergent star reposted a clip that appeared
to be a commentary on her current state of mind.
"My inner
thoughts: You can't get over this," read the text of the video, a clip
originally shared by The.Soul.Awakening. It was followed by the word “I” and
a clip of a man making an impossible high jump come true.
Woodley's series of thought-provoking social media posts comes
days after multiple outlets reported on Monday, April 25, that the actress
had split from Rodgers, 38, again after briefly reconnecting after their
breakup. break in February.

2020.
