Tom Cruise flies his own helicopter in the middle of filming "Mission Impossible 8"
Tom Cruise flew to South Africa to film Mission Impossible 8 in his own
helicopter that he piloted.
When the Hollywood A-lister touched
down in Hoedspruit, Limpopo, he flashed a soulful smile towards the camera
as he removed his face mask.
Dressed in a blue polo shirt, the 59-year-old actor looked as
dapper as ever. He completed his look with gray pants and hiking
boots.
According to the Daily Mail, the Top Gun actor is staying in a
small town of Hoedspruit, which is located near the Mozambican border.
“It's so amazing to see them. I can't wait for you to see the
next movie. Thanks for coming out today,” he told fans.
When asked by a fan if he would ever consider moving to the
country, “I would love to, it would be nice to live here. We are very
excited. We've wanted to film here for a long time."
Cruise was asked about his helicopter ride to which he replied,
"We just saw some cheetahs or lions, they were right in front of somebody's
driveway."
He also expressed his gratitude towards the fans for giving him
a warm welcome. “Thank you all for your hospitality. It means a lot to me,”
he said.
The seventh installment of the acclaimed movie is scheduled to
hit theaters in July 2023 with a whopping production cost already topping
$290 million.
