Jennifer Lawrence was the undisputed star of last year's Oscar ceremony.
But not only because of her dress or for winning an award, but because of
the blow she hit when she went on stage to collect the statuette for Best
Actress.
Her fall was a viral phenomenon and there has been much
speculation about the reasons that caused it: whether her dress, her heels,
her nerves or even her arrogance, as the American presenter Joan Rivers
suggested on Twitter.
"I was at the Oscars, waiting to see if they would say my name, and I kept thinking 'cakewalk, cakewalk' (in English, 'cake' means 'cake' and 'walk', 'walk'). Why can't I stop thinking about that?' And as I started up the stairs and stepped on my dress, I remembered what my stylist had told me: 'Kick, walk, kick, walk'. You're supposed to kick your dress forward when you're walking. And I completely forgot about it because I kept thinking about cakes! And that's why I fell."
It is not surprising: on the red carpet Jennifer had already commented
on how hungry she was.
The reason is very typical of the spontaneous actress:
strange and funny. Will it be repeated this year if she picks up an award at
the Golden Globes? She will be many occasions: she will also be a presenter
during the ceremony.
