The former presidential couple has presented their new website, in which
they also offer to send greetings for birthdays or weddings and even attend
special events as guests.
Melania Trump figures quite
prominently in her husband Donald Trump's new initiative. A few hours ago,
the former 45th president of the United States presented his new website,
45office.com. An initiative with which Trump intends to recover his voice,
lost to social networks due to the danger posed by his constant hoaxes. With
the new website, the former president intends to recover his public agenda
(something that all former presidents eventually do: they have a budget and
personnel for it), focused on activism and his America First program. But
let's get to the interesting part: the most surprising thing has been to see
that Melania is part of the initiative, after insistent rumors that the
marriage would dissolve after leaving the White House. And even more amazing
is one of the sections on the website: the requests agenda, where you can
request the presence of Donald or Melania at your sarao. Or, failing that,
ask them to send you a personalized greeting.
If your dream was for Melania to bless your wedding, baptism or communion with her presence, perhaps this is your opportunity: the form itself –which does not indicate a price– has the indicative "Country" among its fields, which opens the possibility. There are a couple of other questions, though, that indicate Trump's eagerness for media exposure is still present: "Will there be media outlets present?" and a list of "Audience and notable guests" are two of the form fields. So, if you get a good camera presence and posh celebrities come (something you can get on websites like this one, which allow you to hire Ben Affleck, David Beckham or Jennifer Aniston), maybe you can count on the Trumps. Together or separately.
Another option is to ask for a personal greeting, another very popular trend among celebrities and their public in these times of pandemic. Again, the website does not indicate how much the cache is, if any, but the instructions are quite clear: you have to wait a minimum of six weeks to get a response. However, here it is clearer what you can claim Melania for: for a birthday of a child, an adult, or a war veteran (which is not the same as an adult for the Trumps); not for baptisms and communions, but for a wedding or a funeral, because there is no more sincere condolences than Melania's to a stranger about another person she has never seen either (and, remember, it would take 42 days); for when a child is born (six weeks later, have we said that already?) or for when they finish their studies; and, finally, for when a boy or girl scout receives their highest distinction (something also feasible in Spain, which has more than 300 scout groups and federated organizations in all communities).
