"Anne Heche is not expected to survive" her horrific car
accident.
The actress' rep told Page Six on Thursday night that
she "suffered a severe anoxic brain injury" from the accident and "remains
in a coma" at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital and Medical
Center in California.
"It has long been her choice to donate her organs," her
spokesperson shared, adding that she is "kept on life support to determine
if any are viable."
Heche's rep thanked the actress's fans "for
her kind wishes and her prayers," as well as her "dedicated staff and
wonderful nurses" who have cared for her since the accident on August
5.
“Anne had a big heart and touched everyone she met with her generous spirit. More than her extraordinary talent, she saw spreading kindness and joy as her life's work, especially moving the needle for the acceptance of the one she loves”, concluded her representative.

She “she will be
remembered for her brave honesty and sorely missed for her light.”
Heche,
53, "was knocked unconscious and into a coma" shortly after her blue Mini
Cooper crashed into a Los Angeles home and caught fire last Friday.
"She has a significant lung injury that requires mechanical
ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention," her spokesperson
told us three days after the accident.
Since then, the "Missing"
star's status has gone from "critical" to "appalling."
Heche is
“remaining on life support to determine if there are any viable [organs].
After
obtaining a warrant to test her blood, the Los Angeles Police Department was
able to determine that Heche was under the influence of cocaine at the time
of the accident.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ on Thursday afternoon that the
actress's blood test results also came back positive for fentanyl.
However, they cautioned that Heche may have been given fentanyl in the hospital to help control her pain after the accident.
She was allegedly under the influence of cocaine at the time of
the accident.
The "Men in Trees" star was not under the influence
of alcohol, TMZ reported, despite a photo taken shortly before the accident
showing a red-capped bottle in the cup holder of her car.
LAPD
stepped up its investigation to a felony DUI on Wednesday after the woman
whose home Heche crashed claimed she was injured and needed medical
assistance as a result.
According to eyewitnesses at the scene,
the actress first crashed into the garage of a nearby apartment complex
before backing up and speeding up.
Heche is a mother of two children.

Division officials previously confirmed that she hit another vehicle before
demolishing the house that caught fire.

captured the "Hung" star being put on a stretcher and showed serious back
injuries, while aerial shots documented smoke billowing from the residence,
as well as numerous fire trucks surrounding the area.
She shares her son Homer Laffoon, 20, with her ex-husband
Coleman "Coley" Laffoon, and Atlas Heche Tupper, 13, with her "Men in Trees"
co-star James Tupper.
