of one incident while dining out with Hugh in New York City, when it came to
paying the bill Hugh began tapping his jacket pockets before he said he

issue, I'm not sure if I've got enough money left on my credit cards to get
this done,' he recalled.
Gus then recalled a second incident the

Gus went
on to tell Samantha that Hugh would rather park a few blocks away from a
sports venue than pay a small fee for underground parking.
Speaking of their long-running friendship, Gus said Hugh was
his 'oldest mate in the world'.
'He's my gotcha for life friend,'
he gushed. 'I speak to him three or four times a day, he likes to Facetime.
We chat away on a whole lot of things.'
Gus also told the
podcast that the pair have set plans to hang out in Sydney once the actor
leaves mandatory hotel quarantine.
