ANGELINA JOLIE is said to be hurt over claims of a reunion between her
ex-husband Brad Pitt and his first wife Jennifer Aniston, according to
sources.
Angelina Jolie, 44, who was married to actor Brad Pitt,
56, for two years, is said to be feeling “disrespected” and hurt amid
ongoing rumours that Brad and Jennifer have reconnected. Angelina and Brad
met while filming Mr & Mrs Smith in 2003 and split in 2016.
After
Brad publicly joked about his and Angelina’s marriage at the Screen Actors
Guild Awards, the Hollywood actress is said to be feeling
disrespected.
After he collected his Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor
in a Supporting Role award for Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood, Brad said:
“This role was a bit of a stretch.
“Guy who gets high, takes his
shirt off, doesn’t get along with his wife.”
According to The
Sun, soon after he made his statement in front of his audience, a source
close to Angelina said she “won’t be happy”.
The source said:
“Angelina won’t be happy – it feels hugely disrespectful to her to make a
joke out of their marriage problems in front of a room full of their
peers.
“She’d never do that to him.”
They continued to
claim that Brad’s public reconnection with Jennifer will be “hurtful” for
the Come Away star.
The source added: “And Brad’s very public
reunion with Jen will also feel hurtful to her – it’s almost like,
throughout their marriage, the public seemed to want Brad to get back with
Jen.”
It has also been said that Angelina has “banned” the
Friends actress from seeing and spending time with her children she shares
with Brad, and has filed for sole custody.
According to The Mirror, a source told New Zealand magazine
Women’s Day: “Angelina has privately demanded that Jen be banned from seeing
her kids.
“It’s come as a huge shock to everyone. Brad has just
started to feel like his life was back on track after three years of hell
and he was hoping the divorce would be finalised by May.”
