Bella Hadid had a bit of a Carrie Bradshaw catwalk moment when she went
down mid-runway at the Michael Kors show yesterday. But she was hardly
“fashion roadkill”—the model shook it off with a good humored tweet.
Oh,
so that’s what was going on; of course.
Hadid recovered from her fall as well as one can after stumbling in
sky-high heels on a runway, and without any visible wounds. And it appears
she doesn’t have any emotional ones, either, with that comedic brush-off.
She wasn’t shy about the tumble, posting an Instagram video that shows her
rounding the catwalk, and we all know what’s coming. “(Seconds before)” she
writes alongside a thank you to the fashion brand:
Hadid’s attitude toward her fall was very Carrie
Bradshaw–esque. “I had a choice; I could slink off the runway and let my
inner model die of shame,” Bradshaw muses during the fictional Sex and the
City gaffe. “Or I could pick myself up—flaws and all—and finish. And that’s
just what I did. Because when real people fall down in life, they get right
back up and keep on walking.”
