Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about 'the worst day of her life' while
filming for Netflix's 'Don't Look Up'.
The film has taken the
world by storm since its release over the Christmas period and now Jennifer
Lawrence has opened up about how filming her first scene was the 'worst day
of her life'.
The film follows Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as they
struggle to alert Earth to an impending catastrophe and now Jennifer has
revealed that things didn't go very smoothly for her during filming.
The 31-year-old who plays the leading role of astronomer Kate
Dibiasky - had to memorise and perform her own rendition of Wu Tang’s 'Ain’t
Nuthing ta F’ Wit' while she ate toast.
She then revealed that while this was already a difficult task,
she had to do it in front of an entire production team that she didn't
know.
Speaking at the press conference for the film, Jennifer
explained: "Because something happened with COVID, that ended up being my
very first scene. It was horrifying, because I’m in this huge hanger, and
it’s so quiet. And I don’t know anybody, and I had to rap Wu-Tang Clan. It
was just horrendous. And then what’s in the movie is like, five seconds. I
really wish I had known that."
Jennifer also revealed that she faced another setback when she
lost a veneer during filming and had to film toothless.
Speaking
to the Associated Press she said: "Well, I lost a tooth pretty early in the
filming. And I couldn’t go to the dentist until the end of the movie, so I
had to film most of the movie toothless. That was my personal challenge.”
