Maybe it was laundry day?
Julia Fox headed to the grocery store
in Hollywood Sunday in a head-turning choice of ensemble: a black cotton bra
and und-rwear paired with a denim blazer, knee-high boots ($950) and slouchy
purse ($835), all from favorite designer Alexander Wang.
Her bralette and briefs are part of Wang’s upcoming Bodywear
collection, which won’t be available for mere mortals to shop until July
13.
And she didn’t hesitate to defend her outfit when an
Instagram meme account poked fun at her stripped-down style.
“I
just think that if it’s socially acceptable at the beach it should be the
same everywhere lol,” she joked, sharing the account’s post on her Stories
Monday.
it’s not the first time the “Uncut Gems” muse, 32, has worn
these particular denim accessories; she previously rocked her “joots” and
“jurse” as part of an all-jean outfit she had DIY’d at home, taking scissors
to a pair of high-waisted blues to turn them into a bandeau top and low-rise
pants.
“It makes for a really cute set and it’s easy and honestly
now that latex is kinda played out, Denim, you’re all I have left,” she
captioned her Instagram tutorial.
Ever since her whirlwind
one-month relationship with Kanye West took her from indie-film ingenue to
household name, Fox has continue to make headlines with her wild
style.
Earlier this month, she stepped out in 9-inch platform heels
teamed with a “Titty Smasher” bikini top from ingeniously named New York
label Seks.
Meanwhile, her Han Kjøbenhavn look for the 2022
Vanity Fair Oscar Party featured real human hair, and just a few days before
the fancy fête, Fox slashed a single men’s Hanes tank into an
underboob-baring crop top-and-miniskirt combo.
