Kanye West has faced a difficult season in his career, but his
ex-girlfriend Julia Fox has also been affected by her dating life.
Julia Fox and Kanye West had an “instant connection” that led
them to a public debut. All of this occurred during Kim Kardashian and Pete
Davidson's relationship.
Through a statement shared on February 14th of this year, Valentine’s
Day, West and Fox announced that they had decided to end their relationship
for a few months, but that they remained good friends.
Time
passed and little by little details of the breakup began to emerge; In
September, the supermodel told the magazine 'ES' that she was proud to have
ended the relationship and that she felt happy.
However, this Tuesday, Nov. 8th, she was a guest star on Emily
Ratajkowski's, 'High Low with EmRata', where she talked about her
relationship with 'Ye'. She was honest in explaining that the romance with
the controversial rapper had a negative impact on her career, but remains
hopeful that it is just a streak that will soon end.
“After this whole big relationship and all the things that
followed, I definitely felt like, oh I feel a shift in like the acting way,
not in a good way,” said Fox, 32. Then, she explained that she feels that
she receives few job offers compared to before her relationship with
‘Ye’.
“It’s like I’m not getting as many offers as I was before,
weirdly,” adding that she sometimes feels like people see her as a
“liability, just tabloid type of person." Currently, West is also
experiencing a difficult stage in his life, a few days ago he lost 2 billion
dollars for anti-semitic comments.
“There have been a lot of weird drawbacks to reaching that
level of notoriety,” revealed Julia Fox in question about the long-term
consequences of her relationship.
For her part, Ratajkowski
asked if it feels like being typecast with specific acting roles, to which
Fox replied, “Before [dating West] I was really typecast as a pervy Italian
girl and now I’m just like skinny and look sickly and it’s like, I don’t
know.”
“It’s fine, I’m so busy. I think things come to you at the
right time, so that’s why I’m really not stressing...I really don’t care.”
Fox concluded about the negative impact her fleeting romance with Kanye West
had on her artistic career.
