Former child star Cole Sprouse is being roasted for a “cringey” interview
where he spills the tea on losing his virginity and split from his famous
ex.
Actor and ‘it’ boy Cole Sprouse is going viral for smoking
while painting himself as the victim in his high-profile split from his
co-star Lili Reinhart.
Cole has firmly entered his ‘bad boy’ era and wants you to think he
is complicated.
The former Disney child star has decided to
deliver this message via a sit-down interview for Alexandra Cooper’s popular
podcast Call Her Daddy.
Cole came to fame with his twin brother Dylan, they famously
had their own hit show on Disney – The Suite Life Of Zach and
Cody.
The interview starts with Cole asking if he can smoke inside, and
Alexandra kindly agrees. Cole spends the rest of the interview spilling his
feelings while dragging on a cigarette.

While
chain smoking, Cole candidly chats about his split from Lilli.
They
famously star in the smash hit teen series Riverdale, dated for three years,
and officially called it quits in 2020 – they are still working
together.
Cole boldly declares that he has been “emotionally cheated on”
by every girlfriend he has ever had.
When specifically discussing
his break-up with Lilli, he claims, “We both did quite a bit of damage to
each other. This sounds like a line directly from someone’s Tumblr post in
2012.
He also explained that if he’d had better self-esteem, he
would have ended the relationship sooner, “I think if I had loved myself a
little more, I probably would have left [my relationship with Lili] a little
earlier.
“I just felt like I had to take care of a lot of people around
me, which was not good for me. I probably should have exercised a bit more
selfishness in that situation,” he explained – while yes, STILL
smoking.
However, Cole also made it clear the breakup was “mutual” but quickly
clarified that he did the leaving.
Cole said. “I left. But
honestly, when you’re in a relationship for that long, and someone leaves,
it’s not … a surprise.”
However, he did share that the two are on
good terms now, “Good friends now,” he declared.
Cole’s candour
didn’t end there; he also spoke about losing his virginity at 14 and shared
the experience was with someone older, and it lasted for “20 seconds”.
The former child-star also admitted that he felt his previous
relationships were based too much on physical attraction. “Most of my
relationships had a stronger sexual foundation than emotional foundation,
for sure,” he said.
He also delved into his current relationship
with former model Ari Fournier and described it as “The first relationship
where I can say, I have real trust here.”
Cole also used the
interview as a chance to test out his vocabulary and peppered it with words
like, “macabre” and called being a child star, “lifesaving.”
Cole’s decision to smoke throughout the entire interview has
caught the attention of social media users, with the former Disney star now
being absolutely roasted online.
