The British actor made us all uncomfortable with his cagey responses
uppong arriving to the 95th Academy Awards. Interviewer Ashley Graham
certainly earned her paycheck.
Despite being one of Hollywood's
most lauded actors, Hugh Grant is not known for being a good sport on movie
sets or media appearances. And it showed with the most awkward of interviews
at the 2023 Oscars red carpet.
The Notting Hill actor gave Ashley
Graham an interview, although it's unclear why he even volunteered. Graham
asked Grant very standard questions, although it didn't come off that way
given his responses.

Hugh Grant's uncomfortable interview at the 2023 Oscars
Graham
first asked Grant what his favorite part of the Oscars is, to which he
replied: "It's fascinating, all of humanity is here. It's vanity fair." The
co-host then added: "It's all about Vanity Fair, that's where we let loose
and have a little bit of fun".
Hugh Grant was then asked if he
was looking forward to seeing anyone win: "No one in particular". The
interview then got more and more awkward when he was asked what or which
designer he was wearing: "Just my suit".
"You didn't make the suit", Graham joked, "who made it?" To
which Hugh Grant added: "I can't remember my tailor".
Anyone catch the eye roll Hugh Grant just gave after this live Oscars interview? Was he mad she called him a “veteran” of the Oscars or was he just mad at the world? pic.twitter.com/VVFAlYpH51

The final question came with the interviewer asking Grant if he
enjoyed being in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The British actor then
put the cherry on top with his most uncomfortable exchange yet: "I was
barely in it, I was in it for just three seconds".

Graham then won the non-official award for best actress for
sending Hugh Grant with the following statement: "It was nice talking to
you". Grant, meanwhile, showed he didn't want to be there and left giving a
massive eye-roll.
