Netflix would have more serious problems than expected in Spain.
The portal, which announced last February the end of shared accounts in our
country and other regions -in the US it will arrive soon-, it could have lost
many more subscribers and users than was initially believed. Yesterday it was

doubt: Netflix has lost 2.5 million subscribers during the last quarter in our
country. The data is extracted from TV-OTT barometer. 1st Wave 2023 and they

the streaming giant’s new monthly fee of 5.99 euros, in order to share

so with Movistar Plus+. Netflix’s market penetration is higher than that shown
by other platforms and portals so far, with 52.6%, placing itself at the head
of the tough streaming competition and above Amazon, with 49.3%, which is
getting closer and closer. Prime Video is followed by Disney+which has
obtained its best data in Spain to date, with a scope of 28%. Also noteworthy
is the push of SkyShowtimewhich in just a few weeks of availability, has
obtained 1.8 million users in its first month of activity.
