Did any character from Friends get married in real life?

The only cast member of Friends who got married and are still with their spouse is Lisa Kudrow. She married French advertising executive Michael in 1995, and on May 27, 2022, the couple celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary.

We all know about Jennifer Aniston's rocky love life while both Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc aren't any less complicated than the rest of the Friends cast in that regard. The only remaining celebrity with a successful marriage is Lisa Kudrow. David Schwimmer is also divorced, and Matthew Perry never wed. In Friends, almost all of the characters made fun of Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), who has been married and divorced three times.

In reality, though, every member of the cast has at least one divorce under their belt and is either dating someone right now or is single, suggesting that everyone in the cast is a Ross Geller, with the exception of Lisa, who found has her lobster.

Kudrow first met Michael through her flatmate in Paris, who was dating him at the time. They clicked right away but, out of respect for morality, they never went further. Although she was unaware of it, Michael's relationship with Lisa's friends only lasted two months, and they reconnected at that roommate's birthday celebration six years later. The stars were now in their favor, and they had a lovely affair before getting married in 1995.

In 1998, Lisa became pregnant with a son, who was depicted in the television show Friends along with Phoebe's surrogate pregnancy and triplet birth. Regardless, Lisa Kudrow Stern and Michael, a French advertising executive, are still together and Julian Murray Stern, their son, is now 24 years old but stays out of the public eye.

Who’s dating who on the Friends cast in 2022?

Friends' main six lead characters do not have a very good dating history, though the official announcements by them beg to differ.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston, being the most high-profile of the other cast members, has been married and divorced twice. She married Brad Pitt in 2000 and divorced in 2005, though it was a messy breakup and made a lot of headlines. Then she married Justin Thoreax in 2015 and got divorced again in 2018.

Regardless of the reasons for the breakups, she dated more or less 10 different people in her entire dating history, but the details of it would require another article. In 2021, it was rumored that she was dating a “mystery man,” though it was never disclosed who he was. And now, as of 2022, she is single, as per a few of the reports. But without any official announcement, nothing can be said for sure.

Courteney Cox

Cox experienced her fair share of emotional ups and downs; in 1999, she married co-star David Arquette, whom she had first met in 1996 while filming Scream. Cox was unable to conceive, which prevented Courtney and David from starting a family. Before finally giving birth to Coco in 2004, Cox had to endure seven miscarriages as a result of a genetic disorder she carries.

The birth of Coco Arquette in 2004, the same year that the Friends television series came to an end, served as a response to their prayers and Jennifer Aniston was named as her godmother. The couple divorced in 2013, at which point Courteney began dating Johnny McDaid. She even made an engagement announcement with him in 2014 and while they later called it off, the couple are still together.

Matthew Perry

Matthew Perry has dated a lot of A-listers like Julia Roberts, Lizzy Caplan, etc but he never walked down the aisle. When the actor announced, in November 2020, that he was engaged to literary manager Molly Hurwitz, the longtime bachelor believed he had finally found his soul mate. The two started dating in 2018. "I decided to get engaged," he told People. "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time." But he made their breakup public six months later. "Sometimes things just don’t work out, and this is one of them." adding, "I wish Molly the best."

David Schwimmer

After divorcing Zoe Buckman in 2017, whom he had married in 2010, David has remained single. He admitted that he had given marriage a lot of thought and talked about how heartbroken he felt after getting divorced. They both had a daughter named Cleo in 2011, and despite their divorce, they maintain an amicable relationship while co-parenting their daughter. Katie Markowitz, with whom David allegedly went on "a few dates" in 2019, has denied any association with the actor.

In an interview, with the British newspaper The Telegraph in 2020, David described how his divorce was "heartbreaking." "I waited a long time to decide to marry, but I took it just as seriously. I would say even more so." He then went on to say that Cleo was his first priority. "In the first 40 years of my life, work came first, and after she came into this world, I was like, ‘Well, that’s out the window.’ Now it’s a different game. She comes first, no matter what."

Matt LeBlanc

In contrast to his womanizing Joey Tribbiani character, Matt LeBlanc is not like him. Since 2016, he has been happily dating Aurora Mulligan. They first connected shortly after he was named host of Top Gear, where Aurora works as a producer. Although Matt referred to Aurora as his "honey" on social media in 2017, the couple has kept their romance relatively quiet. In November 2017, Matt posted a romantic Instagram message with a picture of the two outside his dressing room before appearing on CBS's The Late Late Show. "I’m gonna be on tonight and my honey came to support me. How nice," and tagged Aurora.
