‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ was released globally on 30 June
Collider’s Perri Nemiroff recently sat down with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’s Mads Mikkelsen, Shaunette Renée Wilson, and Boyd Holbrook to find out more about the making of the last installment in the iconic franchise.
Indiana Jones, who is ready to retire, gets pulled into another adventure when his goddaughter, Helena Shaw (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), steals a rare device from his house. The device is also being sought after by Jürgen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), a former Nazi who now works as a physicist, and his assistant Klaber (Boyd Holbrook). Meanwhile, Agent Mason (Shaunette Renée Wilson) is in pursuit of them.
When Perri asked the cast about the culture on the set of the
movie, Holbrook praised the laid-back dad energy of Harrison Ford: “Just the
memory of Harrison welcoming, truly feeling like you're welcome here. We
love what you do, you're as important as we are. Harrison has always shown
that he's not the star who's in his trailer all the time. he's just like
your dad hanging out.”
Wilson also recalled a heartwarming incident from the set: “It
was my birthday on set and Phoebe [Waller-Bridge] got me a cake and a little
card. I think it's the queen of hearts in an illustration of my character,
and it was wonderful… So I really felt like I was being celebrated, and that
was touching.”
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny hit the
theaters on 30 June.
