The Alias actress was spotted out and about with her three children in Brentwood, Los Angeles on Saturday, wearing quite a statement-making black jumper with a broken heart design on the front.
While no doubt enjoying quality time with her kids, Jennifer failed to raise a smile and looked slightly strained as they left the cinema after watching Aquaman. Still, Violet, 13, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six, appeared to be in good spirits after catching Jason Momoa’s latest movie.
The broken heart jumper, from Rag & Bone, seems to be a favourite of Jen’s as she was also pictured wearing it in November while heading to a boxing class.
It comes just weeks after Jennifer reportedly ended her brief romance with CaliGroup CEO John after around three months of dating. The couple were first linked in October but a source claims Jennifer decided to ‘cool’ their romance to focus on raising her children in the wake of his divorce from Ben Affleck.
An insider told Entertainment Tonight: ‘Privately, she has told friends she doesn’t want to be deeply committed at the moment.
‘She wants to focus on family, career and getting Ben back on track. She enjoys her time with John but she has concerns of moving too quickly because she doesn’t want to be disappointed. Her friends are in full support of her stepping back a bit because they all know relationships take a lot of work and right now her plate is full.’
Ben spent 40 days at a rehab facility this summer to receive treatment for his addiction troubles. The Batman actor is now in recovery and happily co-parenting his and Jennifer’s children, with their split said to be amicable after a drawn out process.
The source added: ‘She still communicates with Ben almost daily because his sobriety is so important, she wants be a strong support and he leans on her a lot. She truly is a great friend to him and an amazing mother.’
