Kim Kardashian reveals failing the baby bar law exam three times strengthened her bond with daughter North West
Kim Kardashian said failing her law exam helped her daughter North West connect with her megastar mother.
The reality TV star revealed that failing the “baby bar” three times before finally achieving her goal turned out in her favour in latest interview.
During an interview with Vogue Italia, The Kardashians star
said North “saw me fail and cry” making her understand how similar she was
to her daughter.
“That’s one of my favorite episodes too. My
daughter was there with me,” Kim said of her reality TV show episode in
which she discovered she had passed her law exam on fourth attempt.
“For
a long time it was difficult for [North] to understand why I was studying
all the time,” the Skims founder said. “She saw me fail and cry, she saw how
I was no different than her when she was worried because of a test.”
Kim, who shares North along with Saint, Chicago and Psalm with
Kanye West, continued: “But when she saw me cry from joy, I knew she
understood how important that achievement was to me personally.”
At
the time she learned she had passed the exam, Kim took to Instagram to share
the news with her 361 million followers.
“I failed this exam 3
times in 2 years,” she wrote. “But I got back up each time and studied
harder and tried again until I did it!!! I did have COVID on the 3rd try
w[ith] a 104 fever but I’m not making excuses.”
