Megan Fox has said she and Amanda Seyfried were "horrified" they had to kiss each other in the 2009 film Jennifer's Body.
The horror film sees a high school girl, Jennifer Check, becoming possessed by a demon who kills her male classmates.
Her best friend, Needy, played by Seyfried, tries to stop her and in one scene, the two characters share a kiss.
Fox told Variety magazine: “I remember Amanda and I were horrified that we had to make out. Her more so than me.
“I was slightly more comfortable being able to do it. She was not excited about having to film that scene at all.”
She added: “I remember we were both stressed out because we had chin acne and there was gonna be this micro-close-up of us kissing. [I remember thinking] ‘They have to paint that out!’ I don’t even know if they did, but that was a very stressful scene for the two of us.”
Seyfried, 33, has discussed the scene before, reportedly telling W Magazine: "We kissed really well together.
"If I watch the scene, it’s actually really s-xy, we got it done for the masses, and, sadly, the masses didn’t show up.”
The movie - released 10 years ago - had a lacklustre performance in US box office, making $2.8 million its opening day and $6.8 million its opening weekend.
Writer Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for 2007 hit Juno, and director Karyn Kusama have since said the film was marketed incorrectly, sharing their frustration at it then being hailed a "timely" film in the #MeToo era.
Kusama told BuzzFeed: “In those [marketing] conversations, I was like, Oh, OK, we are seeing either we made a movie that they see completely differently, or what’s in front of them is something they don’t want to see.
“And at the time it was painful, but now I’m realising this is evident of the world at large.”
Cody added: “People constantly talk about how underrated it is now, and I’m like, Why didn’t anybody go see it at the time? I’m salty.
“I could have made more movies like Jennifer’s Body if people had actually f***ing gone or had been positive about it.”
