However, royal commentator Angela Levin has voiced strong criticism against the Sussexes, accusing them of attempting to establish a "woke" alternative to "erase" the existing Royal Family, thereby advocating for the removal of their titles.
In a tweet, Levin asserted, "This serves as further evidence of H and M's desire to create an alternative royal family that would undermine our current one."
Levin went on to suggest that it is time for Harry to relinquish his Counselor of State post, and for both Harry and Meghan to lose their titles. On a related note, there have been comments from royal expert Richard Eden who simply remarked, "Gosh! This would indeed be quite tacky."
