After their controversial departure from the royal family, Prince Harry, aged 38, and Meghan Markle, aged 41, relocated to Montecito, California, where they allegedly ignored their elderly Navy Veteran neighbor, as claimed by Frank McGinity.
For quite some time now, 88-year-old Frank McGinity, a US Navy vet, has been living as the neighbor of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ever since their move to Montecito in 2020 during the widely known "Megxit."
According to McGinity, he tried to offer them a friendly gift as a gesture of welcome, but unfortunately, they did not receive it graciously.
In his memoir titled "Get Off Your Street," McGinity stated that he approached the couple's residence with some homemade films about local history. However, it seems that Harry and Meghan were not interested.
"I live in a big house right next to Harry and Meghan's property, and while I rent out the main house on Airbnb, I live in the guest house," shared McGinity, emphasizing his close proximity to their 18,000-square-foot home, which they acquired for a staggering $14.65 million in 2020.
Despite his intentions of being neighborly, he claimed that the security guard at the gate did not allow him to pass through and deliver the film. "The gate guy turned me away and refused to take the film, simply stating 'They're not interested.' I was only trying to be a good neighbor," lamented McGinity.
Currently, Harry and Meghan reside in a grand mansion with nine bedrooms and sixteen bathrooms, where they live with their adorable 4-year-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, and their 1-year-old daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
Recent rumors have surfaced, suggesting that the couple might be considering a move to Malibu.
An insider revealed, "Harry and Meghan are exploring their living options, and Malibu is one of their top choices. They've secretly visited the area a couple of times, scoping out what's available."
The source also noted that such a move to Malibu would benefit Markle's Hollywood aspirations, as they would be surrounded by fellow celebrities like Lady Gaga, Jonah Hill, and Mindy Kaling.
