Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Secret Visit to Cousin Princess Eugenie in Portugal

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle executed a top-secret plan to visit Prince Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie, in Portugal following the conclusion of the Invictus Games.

On September 16, the Invictus Games came to an end, and as reported by Portuguese publication Nova Gente, the couple took an unexpected detour to a luxurious resort in Melides, where Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, reside.

Jack works in sales and marketing for the nearby Discovery Land Company, and together with Eugenie, they are parents to two children: August, aged 2, and Ernest, just 4 months old.

The publication stated, "[Harry and Meghan] arrived in Portugal without their children, and as soon as they landed, they headed to Alentejo, specifically to Melides."

Locals claim that the couple boarded a British Airways flight from Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon to Heathrow on September 20 to reunite with their children, Archie, aged 4, and Lilibet, aged 2.

"After the conclusion of the Invictus Games on Saturday, September 16, the couple embarked on a lightning trip to our country," the publication reported.

Highlighting the couple's discreet approach, the report noted, "Meghan and Harry, known for their discretion since stepping away from their royal duties in 2020, chose not to publicize this 'romantic getaway' either through the press or their social media channels."
