While Meghan did not accompany Harry on his European trip, he has been actively participating in solo appearances since his arrival in Germany, following a brief visit to his homeland.
Prince Harry has been enthusiastically engaged in the Games, displaying his animated support by clapping and cheering for the participants. He was also seen conversing with Kenyan Senator Gloria Orwoba and Ukrainian Minister of Veteran Affairs Yulia Laputina.
In his opening speech, Harry couldn't resist mentioning Meghan and even playfully teased a new rivalry with the Duchess. He humorously stated that she would be cheering for the Nigerian team at the Games upon discovering her Nigerian heritage.
"We don't play favorites," Prince Harry remarked about the Sussexes, "but since my wife discovered that she is of Nigerian descent, it's likely to get a little bit more competitive this year."
Prince Harry's smile returned as he landed in Germany after attending a vigil at the late Queen's resting place on the first anniversary of her passing.
