Prince Harry is eager to have Meghan Markle as the guest of honor at the Invictus Games

During the third day of the Invictus Games in the German city of Dusseldorf, Prince Harry was spotted engaging with the enthusiastic crowds and participants. This event precedes Meghan Markle's anticipated arrival as the "chief guest."

Prince Harry has bestowed upon the Duchess the esteemed title of chief guest at the games, and he couldn't contain his excitement as he waited for her at this highly anticipated show.

While Meghan did not accompany Harry on his European trip, he has been actively participating in solo appearances since his arrival in Germany, following a brief visit to his homeland.

During the opening of the 2023 Games, King Charles' younger son, Prince Harry, delivered a significant address that earned him a standing ovation in recognition of his significant achievement.

Meghan is expected to join her husband Harry in the near future and has been designated as a very special guest. This has sparked speculation about the former "Suits" star not accompanying him to the event.

Prince Harry has been enthusiastically engaged in the Games, displaying his animated support by clapping and cheering for the participants. He was also seen conversing with Kenyan Senator Gloria Orwoba and Ukrainian Minister of Veteran Affairs Yulia Laputina.

In his opening speech, Harry couldn't resist mentioning Meghan and even playfully teased a new rivalry with the Duchess. He humorously stated that she would be cheering for the Nigerian team at the Games upon discovering her Nigerian heritage.

"We don't play favorites," Prince Harry remarked about the Sussexes, "but since my wife discovered that she is of Nigerian descent, it's likely to get a little bit more competitive this year."

Prince Harry's smile returned as he landed in Germany after attending a vigil at the late Queen's resting place on the first anniversary of her passing.
