Meghan Markle's Panic as Prince Harry's Friend Exposes Bullying Incident

Allegations Surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Friends

Prince Harry's close friend, known as "Skippy," had shared critical comments about Meghan Markle following their 2018 royal wedding. In the book "Finding Freedom" by Omid Scobie and Caroline Duran, it was revealed that Skippy had advised Harry to spend more time with Meghan before taking their relationship to a more serious level.

Although the advice was well-intentioned, Harry did not fully embrace it. Notably, Skippy was absent from the evening celebration of the wedding, despite attending the ceremony and lunchtime reception.

Skippy confided in friends during a brunch after the wedding, expressing concerns that Meghan had changed Harry significantly. He noted that Harry was now associating with high-profile figures like George Clooney and Oprah, and they had "lost him." This had a profound impact on Harry, as he was hurt that someone close to him had doubts about his judgment.

Recent reports suggest that Skippy is about to provide evidence of mistreatment of staff by Meghan, which is related to an incident that occurred six months after Harry and Meghan's wedding. This incident raised concerns about Harry's demeanor, as he was known for his friendly and endearing nature, which had seemingly changed since his marriage to Meghan.

Changes in Harry's demeanor are also evident in the Netflix documentary "Harry and Meghan" and his book "Spare," where he openly discusses his grievances with the royal family, his distrust of the media, and his healing process. Harry's friends argue that signs of this transition were visible early in his relationship with Meghan.

One such incident revolved around a seemingly trivial matter involving granola. Harry unintentionally brought bowls of granola into their bedroom for breakfast during a hunting weekend, expressing a desire to do yoga with Meghan and have a private breakfast. However, Meghan's planned weekend with Harry's friends took an unfavorable turn when personalized embroidered blankets turned out to be the wrong shade of red.

Some of Harry's friends found Meghan's reaction unreasonable and saw it as a result of her high demands, including her insistence on Harry fulfilling her every request and limiting his social interactions with friends. Concerns arose that Meghan set her own boundaries and often preferred to have breakfast alone during group getaways.

Insights into Meghan's behavior also came to light during a dinner party in London early in their relationship. Meghan created a scene when she wasn't seated next to Harry, contrary to British customs where couples typically sit separately. Friends recalled Harry's nonchalant response: "I know, but she's hot." Meghan's treatment of social gatherings as Hollywood networking events also strained Harry's relationships with long-term friends.

The primary animosity between Harry and his former friends and associates escalated following the publication of his memoir in January, which deeply hurt many individuals who had formed a close-knit circle of friends during their upbringing. Royal commentator Rebecca English noted that these friends felt deeply hurt by Harry's disclosures and the changes in his life since leaving the royal family.
