Their separation occurred merely two months after joyfully celebrating
their second anniversary as a couple.
Ariana Grande, the renowned "Thank u, next" singer at the age of 30, and Dalton Gomez, a 28-year-old real estate agent, exchanged vows in May 2021, just five months following their engagement announcement.
According to the divorce documents, the official date of their separation was
February 20, yet the couple only initiated the divorce proceedings last month,
as reported by E! News.
TMZ reports that in the divorce settlement, Dalton Gomez will not be entitled
to spousal support, as he will receive a tax-free lump sum payment of
$1,250,000 upfront. Additionally, he will acquire fifty percent of the net
proceeds from the sale of their former residence in Los Angeles, with Ariana
Grande also covering his legal fees.
The revelation of their split came a mere two months after celebrating their
second anniversary together.
During this period, the songstress was engrossed in filming her upcoming movie, "Wicked," in England, a commitment that continued until the SAG-AFTRA strikes commenced on July 14.
Amidst the swirling rumors of their divorce, sources disclosed that the "Into You" singer had embarked on a romantic journey with her co-star from "Wicked," Ethan Slater. Remarkably, by the end of July, Ethan initiated divorce proceedings against his wife, Lilly Jay.
