Kate Middleton's decision to skip Prince William's Earthshot Prize Awards
in Singapore, reportedly to care for their 10-year-old son, Prince George,
during his exams, has drawn comparisons to Meghan Markle's past choices, despite
their differences and previous disagreements.
The Mail has reported that Kate's absence from the awards ceremony will be a
significant disappointment for the event's organizers, as she has attended
every awards ceremony since its inception two years ago.
This scenario also bears a resemblance to an incident earlier in September
when Meghan arrived halfway through Prince Harry's Invictus Games. At the
time, the Duchess of Sussex mentioned their children, Prince Archie and
Princess Lilibet, as the reason for her tardiness, saying, "I had to spend a
little more time getting our little ones settled at home and get them to drop
off."
Relationship expert Louella Alderson previously noted that, despite her
composed public image, Kate may have felt unhappy about the positive attention
Harry and Meghan received during the Invictus Games. Alderson suggested that
this could indicate underlying feelings of competition or resentment on Kate's
part towards Meghan.
While both Kate and Meghan have made different choices in their public lives, these incidents have fueled comparisons and discussions about their actions and relationships within the royal family.
