Kourtney Kardashian stands strong in the face of criticism for expecting a baby boy at the age of 44 with her husband, Travis Barker.
"I had a gut feeling that it wasn't the right approach," she explained. "I kept telling Travis that if we are meant to have a baby, it will happen naturally. And it did. When we stopped forcing the process, it fell into place."
Kourtney, already a mother to Mason Disick (13), Penelope Disick (11), and Reign Disick (8) with her ex, Scott Disick, acknowledged that this pregnancy is different from her previous experiences.
"Physically, I feel wonderful," she shared with the magazine. "I genuinely enjoy being pregnant. I'm captivated by the whole concept of pregnancy. However, this time around, unlike my previous pregnancies, I had a new team of doctors who imposed several restrictions during the initial months. No workouts, no Pilates, no caffeine, no air travel, and even abstinence."
Kourtney continued, "Honestly, all this caution initially made me apprehensive because I'd never had to be so careful in the past. It took me some time to let go of that fear. I'd say it was after the initial phase that I managed to overcome my worries and embrace this wonderful journey."
