Leonardo DiCaprio's dating life, particularly his penchant for dating
models under the age of 27, has been a subject of much media attention. However,
it appears that the constant scrutiny is taking a toll on the 48-year-old actor.
Ever since rumors started swirling that he was dating 19-year-old model Eden
Polani after they were spotted at a party together in late January, he has
become rather sensitive about the topic.
Sources have revealed to In Touch that Polani was "just a friend" and not a
romantic interest. Nonetheless, DiCaprio is reportedly upset about his
reputation as someone who dates younger women. It seems the Oscar winner is
concerned that his dating life is overshadowing his Hollywood career. An
insider noted that he was venting about the situation and how he can't go out
without people assuming he's dating someone.
Paparazzi attention has been relentless since DiCaprio's breakup with his
longtime girlfriend, Camila Morrone, last summer. He briefly dated Gigi Hadid
after the split, but their relationship fizzled out as she reportedly found
his nightlife-focused routine too much for her as a mother to her two-year-old
daughter, Khai.
Following his time with Hadid, Victoria Llamas briefly entered the picture.
However, the relationship didn't last long, partly due to her father, Lorenzo
Llamas, speaking to the press, which goes against DiCaprio's preference for
privacy.
For now, it appears that DiCaprio wants to make it clear that he is very much single and would prefer not to be linked to anyone. In fact, it seems he would like the public to stop discussing his dating life altogether.
