Earlier this year, the Duchess of Sussex made headlines by signing a new contract with William Morris Endeavor (WME), hinting at a new chapter in her career. However, six months later, there have been no indications of forthcoming projects, amidst reports of financial challenges faced by the couple.
Sources suggest that WME has been diligently seeking appropriate projects for Meghan, but their efforts have been hampered by her connection with Prince Harry.
According to insiders, pursuing a career in acting or striving to become a movie star is not in the cards for Meghan, as it doesn't align with the expectations of her royal role.
Instead, her focus will shift towards charitable initiatives, public speaking engagements, endorsements, and public appearances. Think of it as the kind of work the Royal Family engages in within the UK but on a larger scale in the United States.
Meghan, a former actress who gained fame in Hollywood through her role in the Netflix series "Suits" until 2017, has previously stated in an interview with Variety that she is "done" with acting. She did, however, leave the door slightly ajar, adding, "I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not."
