Meghan Markle's struggles to assimilate into royal life stemmed from her
reluctance to fully embrace the customs and traditions of the royal family.
According to biographer Andrew Morton, who shared his insights with Fox News,
the Duchess of Sussex may not have fully grasped the expectations and impact of
royal life on her relationships within the family.
Morton remarked, "It seems that Meghan never truly adopted the rules and
rituals of the royal family. She may not have understood the significance of
privately curtsying to the queen. It's no secret that there was tension
between Meghan and Kate, and Meghan has chosen to build her life on the West
Coast."
The royal author went on to explain that Meghan has intentionally distanced
herself from the royal family as she focuses on establishing her life in
California. He noted, "Meghan has moved on and placed the royal family firmly
in her rearview mirror. She's forging her own path."
Morton also revealed that Meghan is reportedly planning to launch an updated version of her lifestyle website, "The Tig," indicating that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are building their own lives and becoming more entrenched in their California lifestyle with each passing day.
