significant rift within the Sussex family. He is currently in search of a
residence near London, and conspicuously absent from this quest is Meghan. There
might have been some tension when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry returned to the
US following a recent vacation.
During their holiday, they shared moments on Canon Island in St. Vincent and
the Grenadines in the Caribbean. However, signs of discontent during the trip
were evident, reportedly stemming from Prince Harry's interest in procuring
properties in the UK with the intention of spending more time in his homeland.
This decision, as per reports, has the potential to create a schism between
Harry and his spouse, Meghan Markle, who appears to be less enthusiastic about
the idea. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex departed Britain for the United
States in 2020, a move widely referred to as "Megxit," effectively distancing
themselves from their royal roles, further exacerbating the rift between Harry
and his family in recent months.
Nevertheless, longstanding rumors have circulated about Harry's longing for a
partial return to the UK. He yearns for the company of his friends and
believes that rekindling relations with his family might be more attainable if
they were on British soil. Despite the strained rapport with his relatives,
Harry is enthusiastic about the prospect of his family dividing their time
between the UK and the US, even though his father, King Charles, ousted him
and Meghan from their former residence.
This desire for a UK return has resulted in tensions between Harry and Meghan,
who appears to prefer a permanent residence in the US, according to an insider
quoted in Okay magazine. A clear division exists within the couple on this
matter, yet Harry is poised to commence the search for a property near London.
He will not seek assistance from his father, King Charles, in securing a
property on the Royal Estate, as he anticipates a negative response,
particularly in light of the previous issues surrounding Frogmore Cottage.
After returning their keys, the couple found themselves without a residence in
the UK. It is also believed that the Duke was denied access to royal
accommodations during his recent visit to London for the WellChild Awards last
month. In most other aspects, Charles seems to be at odds with Harry's
desires. Despite Harry's efforts in the media to obtain the title of Duke of
Edinburgh, this request was not granted. Even securing a flat in Kensington
proved to be a challenging endeavor for Harry, as Charles will not allow him
to set foot on Palace grounds without prior authorization.
Harry is encountering obstacles in persuading his father to cover his security
expenses, but Charles remains steadfast in his reluctance. Furthermore,
Harry's call for an apology from Charles for his treatment of Meghan has gone
unanswered, and Charles appears to have little inclination to spend time with
Harry. Charles is making it increasingly evident that Harry will hold no
significant role in his reign.
