Prince Harry's Frustration Evident as Meghan Markle Allegedly Takes Center Stage at Hudson Yards Event with Empty Seats

Prince Harry and Meghan's recent visit to New York City for an event on World Mental Health Day didn't quite generate the excitement one might expect for a royal couple. The Sussexes were in the city to represent the ARU Foundation at the Project Healthy Minds event in Hudson Yards, where they engaged in a panel discussion on mental wellness in the digital age.

However, the lack of a bustling crowd in the Hudson Yards area during their arrival and departure did not go unnoticed.

When locals were asked about their thoughts on Prince Harry and Meghan's presence in New York, many expressed indifference. For instance, Cendes, a 22-year-old from the Bronx, remarked, "I mean, if I get to see them, it's cool, but I didn't even know they were here." Despite several black SUVs parked outside the venue, most tourists and locals seemed unaffected by the royal presence.

However, one devoted royal enthusiast, Ann McGuinness, an author from New Jersey who attended the event, had a more positive outlook. She mentioned, "I've always been a royal watcher. I'm fascinated by the whole story. I'm a big fan of the entire family."

Nevertheless, McGuinness also conceded that Harry and Meghan didn't draw a crowd in New York, characterizing the atmosphere as "very relaxed" and the attendees as "respectful and considerate" of their space.

A notable contrast emerged when comparing this visit to Prince William's prior visit, which saw substantial crowds, heightened security measures, and an enthusiastic reception. The difference in reception wasn't surprising, as Harry and Meghan hadn't previously attracted similar crowds in New York, and this recent comparison seemed to underscore their subdued public appeal.

Curiously, the footage of the mental health panel discussion didn't provide a clear view of the audience's size. In a video featuring Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during the panel discussion, only about eight heads were visible in the background, and the camera did not pan to showcase the various audience members, making it difficult to gauge the number of people present. This selective presentation may have been deliberate, possibly aimed at downplaying the relatively low turnout.

Furthermore, a moment captured on video by The Daily Mail showed Meghan seemingly positioning herself in front of Harry as he attempted to greet an event attendee. Harry had extended his hand for a handshake, and the man reciprocated before Meghan inserted herself in front of Harry to ensure she was the first to shake the guest's hand. In the video, Harry eventually shook the gentleman's hand, with the attendee not paying much attention to either of their faces.

This incident, along with Meghan's other actions, such as excessive hugging of strangers, has sparked criticism of her perceived inappropriate behavior. Some have noted that her actions make Harry appear subservient and somewhat awkward, raising questions about the dynamics of their relationship and how Meghan's behavior may impact Harry's well-being.
